It's not the holidays without rich spiked eggnog, and here at Lantern it's no different. We first fry off a perfect brioche raised donut, and when slightly cooled, we fill it with our very own eggnog pastry cream custard. Lots of egg yolks, nutmeg, and spiced rum go into this delicious pastry cream, and it's exactly what you're looking for in a filled Christmas donut.

Once filled, we make an icing with spiced rum, vanilla bean, and a splash of milk to dip the filled donut in, finishing with a swirl of our chef's delicious vanilla whipped cream and sprinkling with an eggnog spice candy we make out of sugar, nutmeg, and cinnamon.
