Seasonal OLD FASHIONED SOUR CREAM CAKE DONUT Cranberry Sauce Glaze • Freeze Dried Poached Pear • Bay Leaf Candy
We made a special holiday cranberry icing from a base of our house-made cranberry chutney. We then poached some local pears in a simple syrup flavored with citrus, rosemary and whole winter spices, and freeze-dried them to capture all that delicious flavor. We place pieces of those pears on top of the cranberry glaze, along with a sprinkle of bay leaf candy.
